Foster Hope

Foster Hope believes that every child in foster care deserves to know that their community cares about them. They demonstrate this through providing children with necessities to ease their way and symbolise support for them and their carers. There are over 5,000 children in foster care in NZ. Are you aware that many of these children arrive at their new placements with NOTHING but the clothes on their backs, or with their belongings in a black rubbish sack?

Women’s Refuge

Women’s Refuge is New Zealand’s largest nation-wide organisation that supports and helps women and children experiencing family violence. Their vision is for all women and children in Aotearoa to live free from domestic and family violence.

I choose to support Women’s Refuge by hosting fundraising events around tough times for women and children who experience family violence, such as Christmas time. The statistics of family violence in New Zealand are heart breaking and often fly under the radar. I believe we can all do our part to support those in unfortunate circumstances especially during times of hardship like nation wide lockdowns. ID Fashion Dunedin

From Dunedin to the world. ID Dunedin fashion is a fashion experience like no other! An edgy blend of high profile designers from New Zealand and abroad and innovative emerging fashion from around the globe showcased on the canvas of New Zealand’s southern gothic city, Dunedin.

Fashion has always been a passion of mine. Since owning fashion stores from a young age, to being an image consultant full time prior to starting real estate. I have always loved expressing my personality through fashion and helping others gain confidence through their wardrobe.

This year I had the privilege of being a part of ID Dunedin Fashion Week when I was invited to present an award at the Saturday night show.

Whenever I have the opportunity to support local, I try to do just that. It is especially important when we have little tourism in New Zealand with the global pandemic.
